About Ruth
To put it simply I love to teach and have a passion for shaping nurses who are just beginning their careers.
I had some wonderful preceptors when I began my nursing career and I love to pay it forward.
I believe that kindness and listening go a long way and that asking for help makes us better nurses.

I am a big believer in understanding the students learning style and working with them to design the learning program.
I will mould the lessons around the Universities Nursing Subject outline and students assessments. Students will have the opportunity to work through content queries or assessment concerns.
Lessons are 45 mins
I am experienced as a Nurse Preceptor on the unit working with New Graduate Nurses. I have a Bachelor of Nursing, Graduate Certificate in Paediatric Nursing and a Master of Education - all from UTS.
