About Zofia
I’m a Polish journalist based in Wimbledon, and I trained in operatic singing throughout my childhood and teenage years. Although I ultimately pursued a career in writing, singing has remained an important creative part of my life.
I want to teach because I know how vulnerable it can feel to sing in front of another person, and how rewarding it is when the voice begins to feel stronger and more natural. I’d particularly like to help adult beginners explore their voices in a relaxed, supportive setting, without the pressure or formality that can sometimes make singing lessons feel intimidating.

My approach is relaxed, encouraging and centred on helping people feel comfortable using their voice. I believe singing should be enjoyable rather than intimidating, particularly for adults who are complete beginners or have lost confidence.
Drawing on my early training in operatic singing, I introduce the foundations of breathing, posture, pitch and vocal control in an accessible way. Lessons are adapted to the individual, using songs they genuinely enjoy while gradually building technique and confidence.
