About Lara
My name is Lara Rainho and I am Portuguese.
Music is one of my biggest loves. I adore the stage and cherish every chance I get to step into a new opera role.
At the same time, I love singing jazz, blues, pop and my own music.
Teaching is something that speaks to me. Watching a student evolve and surpass fears and difficulties lights my soul. Teaching through true empathy, care and extreme attention is of the utmost importance to me.

Lara Rainho - a Portuguese Soprano who studied in Portugal (Bachelor's Degree) and Belgium (Opera Studio - Post Graduate Course) - teaches vocal technique in Dublin in person and online in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
In lessons tailored just for you as a student you will learn about vocal technique, vocal health, good posture and above all how to become a good interpreter - someone who conveys a message and true emotion to their audience.
My experience as a singer has been acquired a little bit all over the world.
My experience as a teacher comes from working in music schools in Lisbon.
My students - both children and adults - sing classical repertoire or pop, rock, jazz standards or musical theatre pieces according to their preference and my advice.
I often accompany my students on the piano, which I love.
