About Teagan
I have worked with students from ages three to ninety. I've taught both private and group classes, including working as a Teaching Artist at the University Musical Society, Buffalo String Works, El Sistema Ypsi, and the Sphinx Organization. I'm a violinist myself, now attending the Manhattan School of Music for grad school. I've studied classical (Suzuki method), jazz, and tango through my time at the University of Michigan and Fulbright work.

Each student and I work to make the curriculum that is perfect for them - whether that's a focus on winning an audition, writing a brand new piece of music, or exploring a genre you've never heard before! Music is a tool in all of our lives that we can each use in our own way, and so lessons should be designed just as individually. With this, I also assure that we'll prioritize high artistic standards, diversity in our repertoire, and a strong technical foundation.
