About Vicky

Hi! I'm Vicky, I'm Greek and for the last 8 years I live in Lisbon, where I teach in person. I am a teacher of Basic Education and at the moment I am attending a master degree in Language Sciences, with specialization in language acquisition and disorders. I teach private Greek classes for the past 4 years and I give school support for the last 8 years. I speak Greek, Portuguese, English, German, Spanish, Italian and I am learning Mandarin. Classes are customized according to the profile and objectives of each student. I intend to transmit, in addition to linguistic knowledge, knowledge about the country and culture (music, films, etc.). Grammar and vocabulary are the pillars. It is acquired for and through understanding text, music, videos, conversation etc. I am a creative person, I adapt easily to the student's needs and I am open to suggestions.

About the lesson

My classes depend on the student's objective, they are personalized and relaxed, but with several books as a basis for organizing the classes, with personalized exercises, conversations, videos, music and articles to become familiar with the Greek language and for training. There is a first 20-minute meeting, which is free, via Skype or Zoom, for presentation, setting goals, expectations and questions.

Perfect! Vicky is without doubt one of the best teachers I could find starting on anything! This is because sehe is very well prepared, has material for everything and is very careful that you get the basis, but what made the difference was that she was available even though I changed the dates serveral times.

Perfect! A Vicky é muito dedicada e possui muito conhecimento de várias línguas diferentes. É muito pontual e nunca tive problemas com flexibilidade de horários. A Vicky é tambem muito simpática e as aulas são sempre bem preparadas e divertidas!
