I focus on building strong fundamentals, including tone, posture, technique, and reading music, while keeping lessons engaging and manageable. Each lesson is structured to include warm-ups, skill-building exercises, and guided practice on assigned material. I provide clear explanations and demonstrations to support understanding and steady progress. Lessons typically last 30-45 min for beginners and 60 for more advanced students. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students can build confidence and enjoy learning music.

Perfect! Jan has been so great with my daughter! She is patient, kind, gives good feedback and listens when she talks about her struggles. Jan also tailors the lessons to the music she’s playing at school.
