About Clare Ting Yan

Since I was young, I have had a keen interest in playing music. With nearly 10 years of experience in teaching, I understand the difficulties in learning different instruments and suggest suitable exercises for students to practice. Moreover, it is especially fun to customize music scores for them according to their interests so as to improve their techniques in an enjoyable way. Qualifications: ABRSM Clarinet Grade 8 (2015) ABRSM Piano Grade 8 (2018) ABRSM Flute Grade 8 (2018) ABRSM Alto Saxophone Grade 8 (2022) You’re also welcome to follow my IG page: clare_musicclassroom to inbox me for any song requests. About the lesson

With years of experience in teaching musical instruments, it’s really glad to see students enjoy playing music and improve their skills through learning songs they like.

Apart from only practicing studies and scales, the music lessons aim at improving students’ skills and musical knowledge in a fun way which they are able to play songs they like. Music theory involved is also taught to make students an all-round musician.

In-person lessons
Elementary level (pre-grade to grade 3):
$30 (30 minutes) $45 (45 minutes) $60 (60 minutes)
Intermediate level (grade 4 to 6):
$55 (45 minutes) $65 (60 minutes)
Advanced level (grade 7 to 8):
$65 (45 minutes) $75 (60 minutes)
