About Zhuo Lucy
Native mandarin speaker with 25 years experience as a Chinese university teacher, Information Officer for British Embassy Beijing, language schools, study-abroad agencies helping students to apply for British universities, China manager of fifaworldcup.com, journalist for Madame Figaro, Timeout Beijing and Chinanow.com. I can help develop your ability to speak Mandarin for academic, business or pleasure in an informed, relaxed manner or professional manner. I have worked as a teacher in several academic institutes and training businesses supporting both the acquisition of Mandarin and English language proficiency. I will make your learning fun and interesting and well-informed- I integrate knowledge of Chinese culture into what I do, I am widely travelled in China and have in depth knowledge of the arts as well as business. I have extensive links and contacts with diplomats and creative industry in China, UK and Europe and have been a creative community creator linking China, UK and Europe in the past 20 years. I have worked for schools and colleges in the UK where I currently live and work. I have experience of IELTS teaching and have worked with British Council on different cultural exchange projects.
