About Michelle
I am a marketing specialist with over thirty years of experience when I decided to change careers and studied a TESOL/TEFL certificate while tutoring one-on-one for the past three years. I have mostly worked with at-risk children through Shine Literacy and ADD/ADHD children in the home. I am also an amanuensis for pupil's who require a reader and scribe during exams.

My methodology is based on the requirements of the person I am tutoring. I need to understand the learning concerns and expectations from the tutoring experience. I usually work in 15-minute segments, with various reading and writing activities, to ensure maximum attention for optimal learning. This needs to be a fun exercise so optimal retention is achieved.
