About Anna
Chemistry tutor with 4 years of experience teaching high school and early college students. Have taught around 180 students, helping many pass board exams and entrance tests with strong scores. I create a comfortable learning environment where questions are encouraged at any time. I provide additional support through doubt-clearing sessions outside regular class hours. I also share extra practice materials and quick revision notes before exams. My teaching philosophy is that every student can understand chemistry if it is explained with patience and the right examples. I am known for breaking down difficult topics into simple, memorable steps. I also provide tips and tricks for solving numerical problems quickly and accurately. My teaching approach for Chemistry is built on clarity and systematic problem-solving. I focus on making abstract concepts like atomic orbitals and mole calculations accessible by using visual models and real-life analogies. I start every topic with basic fundamentals and gradually move to advanced problems, ensuring you have a strong foundation before tackling complex questions. I encourage active participation by asking you to solve problems during the session and explain your reasoning out loud. This helps me identify gaps in your understanding and correct them immediately. I also connect topics across chapters, for instance, showing how chemical bonding relates to periodic trends and how acid-base concepts link to thermodynamics. I provide structured notes, formula sheets, and practice worksheets for every chapter. I use case studies from everyday chemistry, like why salt dissolves in water or how antacids work, to make learning relevant and interesting. I regularly assign homework consisting of numerical problems and conceptual questions. I also conduct quick revision quizzes at the start of each session to reinforce previous learning. Additionally, I provide step-by-step solutions to all homework problems so you can check your work and learn from mistakes. I also maintain a progress chart for each student to identify weak areas and revisit them systematically. For thermodynamics, I use simple analogies like water flowing downhill to explain energy changes and spontaneity. I also include practice problems from past board exams and competitive tests to give you real exam exposure. My ultimate goal is to build your confidence and help you achieve top grades.
