About Luna
My interest in chemistry developed from a fascination with molecular interactions and chemical transformations in everyday life. I pursued a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, equipping me with expertise in reaction mechanisms, analytical methods, and laboratory practices. Over 10 years of teaching, I have worked with students of varying levels, helping them understand complex concepts and gain confidence in both theoretical and practical chemistry.
I focus on teaching that combines clarity, patience, and individualized guidance. Many learners struggle with abstract equations or experimental procedures, so I emphasize stepwise explanations, real-world examples, and interactive problem-solving. This approach ensures students not only understand chemistry but feel confident applying their knowledge in exams, projects, and experiments.
Outside the classroom, I engage with research, experimental work, and emerging chemical developments, bringing real-world relevance into lessons. Witnessing learners progress from uncertainty to comprehension, curiosity, and academic confidence is immensely rewarding. Supporting students’ growth and fostering a love for chemistry remains the most fulfilling aspect of my professional work.

Chemistry lessons are structured to make abstract principles engaging and practical. I guide learners through chemical bonding, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, kinetics, acids and bases, organic reactions, spectroscopy, and laboratory practices. Lessons emphasize understanding concepts rather than memorizing rules, connecting theory to real-world applications. Students are encouraged to explore, question, and think critically while developing problem-solving skills.
Beginners focus on foundational concepts such as atomic structure, chemical equations, solution chemistry, and safe lab practices. Intermediate learners explore reaction mechanisms, equilibrium, pH calculations, titration, and multi-step problem-solving. Advanced learners tackle spectroscopy, reaction kinetics, organic synthesis strategies, and experimental analysis. Each lesson includes exercises, guided examples, and interactive discussion to reinforce conceptual understanding and skill development.
Chemistry education also cultivates critical thinking, attention to detail, and structured reasoning. Students gain confidence in solving complex problems, conducting experiments, and analyzing results accurately.
