About the lesson

As a graduate student in science and a working chemist in a regulated lab, I combine academic knowledge with real-world experience to help students truly understand chemistry, not just memorize it. I specialize in tutoring high school and college students who are taking general chemistry, honors chemistry, AP chemistry, or introductory college-level science courses.

My approach is based on breaking down complex topics into digestible, logical parts. I use analogies, guided problem-solving, and real lab examples to make the material more relatable. I tailor my teaching to each student’s learning style, whether visual, hands-on, or step-by-step analytical.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by a focused breakdown of new concepts. We then work through problems together, building confidence and clarity. I often include helpful study tips and explain how these concepts show up in real labs and industries like pharmaceuticals or cosmetics.
