Keep it as simple as possible while still teaching students everything they need to know. I provide plenty of examples, mnemonic devices, and cheat sheets so that a student can refer to their work and use certain phrases or equations for certain questions that they will encounter.
There are many ways to approach a problem or remember a concept, so I find what works for that student.
