About Matt
I am a patient, friendly and approachable 3rd PhD student. I have always been passionate about science and chemistry and I love helping others. I always like finding out about new developments in chemistry which is what led me to study a PhD after finishing my master's. My main interests other than chemistry are all sport related as I love going to the gym, playing football and doing martial arts.

The way I teach is focused to help you improve and develop your problem-solving skills and confidence with the more complicated aspects of the subject. I usually go through one topic per lesson that has been covered by the student recently in class or a topic the student has been struggling with. In the lesson we will go through the trickier parts of the topic through the use of PowerPoint, whiteboard or specific exercises and then we will go through exam questions together boosting the student's confidence in the topic. My lessons last for 1 hour.
