About Lynda
I grew up helping my peers and teaching my family and friends. I like to sit down and help refine abilities of the students I work with along with possibly learning something from them. I want to make a safe and healthy working environment so I am flexible in the ways I teach. I like to encourage and reward improvement with each person I work with. School can be incredibly stressful so I want to try and foster a good relationship with those I tutor and not be overbearing while still doing my job.

-My teaching method can honestly variate depending on the person I am working with. If a student needs tutoring solely in homework I am okay with sitting down and trying to find the areas of confusion. If a student wants to learn in general I try to take a subject and find various examples to first work together then test their knowledge. I always try to take on an encouraging tone. I want the student to feel okay with getting things wrong and trying to better their skills.
-Bachelors degree: Has taken 2 semsters of undergraduate chemistry and all orgo series. Can help with lower level math, psych, chem, physics
