About Vaibhav

Hey! My name is Vaibhav, and I am a 3rd-year Undergraduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am pursuing both a B.S in Neuroscience, as well as a B.A in Chemistry. My academic interests lie in teaching and pharmacology/chemistry research.

My experience as an Undergraduate Learning Assistant (helping my professor teach an introductory pharmacology class at UNC-Chapel Hill) is where I learned foundational skills for how to communicate effectively as a tutor.

Outside of school, I enjoy playing soccer, cooking, playing the guitar, and reading. Ask me about any of my hobbies!

About the lesson

Struggling students need more than a lecturer to listen to. They need a teacher who will understand what level they are at, and how they can proceed going forward. My goal is to understand what my students' problem concepts are in their topic, then work with them to formulate a plan detailing how we can turn these weaknesses into their strengths. Our plan will focus on filling in the gaps in knowledge that hinder my clients from making the connections that their teachers/professors want them to.
