About Madison

I developed a love for chemistry when I realised how beautifully it explains the world at the molecular level. This fascination led me to complete a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences, where I studied both theoretical and practical components of chemical systems. Over 7 years of teaching, I have helped students make sense of chemistry by guiding them through clear explanations, visual understanding, and patient support. My teaching style focuses on creating a calm, structured environment where students never feel rushed or confused. I enjoy explaining complex ideas in simple forms and watching students gradually build confidence as they understand more and more. Helping learners transform chemistry anxiety into steady competence is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading scientific articles, exploring chemistry applications in real life, and continually refining my teaching materials. Teaching chemistry allows me to share my passion while helping students develop strong problem-solving and scientific reasoning skills.

About the lesson

Chemistry becomes much simpler when students learn to break it into concepts such as structure, energy, and interactions. In my lessons, I guide learners through atoms, molecules, reactions, bonding, stoichiometry, acids and bases, periodic trends, and laboratory reasoning with clear, easy-to-follow explanations. I aim to help students understand the “why” behind each reaction rather than memorising formulas. Beginners work on foundational ideas—atomic structure, elements, compounds, and simple reaction understanding. Intermediate students explore bonding types, balancing equations, moles, energy changes, and solution chemistry. Advanced learners study equilibrium, thermodynamics, reaction rates, organic chemistry basics, and exam-style problem solving. Each lesson is structured and supportive, helping students feel more confident tackling complex material. Chemistry lessons also help learners build analytical reasoning, observation skills, and scientific confidence. As students begin to understand chemical behaviour more clearly, they feel more capable approaching laboratory questions and theoretical problems. My goal is to help students experience chemistry as a logical and enjoyable subject rather than a difficult one.
