About Rajneesh

I have more than 13 yrs of experience and taught over 500 students over that period in math and science. I am willing to work hard to be the best teacher I can to guide students through the challenges they will encounter when studying chemistry and mathematics. As C.S Lewis famously said, “the task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts.”

About the lesson

I am a research scientist with a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas. I study plants and animals as they exist in nature, to reproduce some of their special characteristics, like their hydrophobic/hydrophilic surfaces, in the laboratory. I also work with biomaterials, fuel cells, hydrogels and carbon-based materials but the most enjoyable, rewarding thing I do is help students develop the confidence and foundational skills to excel in technical subjects. For more than 13 years I have taught high school, undergraduate and graduate students in the laboratory, classroom and tutorial settings. I believe learning should be fun and that everyone can learn, we just need to work together to find out what works for you. Learning is not just observation, it is also participation. By engaging students in interactive discussions, I encourage curiosity and intellectual exploration. I help students learn how to think not what to think. By learning to think critically, students are able to maximize their potential to excel in math and science and do well on exams. I am willing to work hard to be the best teacher I can to guide students through the challenges they will encounter when studying chemistry and mathematics.
