About Sanuthmi

Hi! I’m Sanuthmi, a passionate 3rd year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Edinburgh. Having aced Nat 5 and Higher Maths/Physics myself (with top grades!), I understand exactly what it takes to succeed in these subjects and I’m here to help you do the same. My tutoring approach focuses on simplifying complex ideas, building problem solving skills, and using past papers strategically to boost confidence. With experience as a volunteer maths tutor and a deep grasp of the SQA curriculum, I tailor each lesson to fit your learning style, whether you’re struggling with fundamentals or aiming for top marks. Let’s work together to turn challenges into strengths because with the right guidance, every student can excel.

About the lesson

Struggling with Maths or Physics? Let’s turn those stress marks into A marks! I’m a 3rd year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Edinburgh with straight A’s in Nat 5 and Higher Maths/Physics, and now I’m here to help you do the same. My tutoring sessions are all about making tough concepts click whether it’s breaking down problem solving step by step, drilling past papers, or tailoring explanations to how you learn best. Having volunteered as a maths tutor at school, I know how to explain things clearly without the jargon, and I’ll work with you to build confidence, fix weak spots, and nail exam technique. If you’re in S3-S6 and aiming to boost your grades (or just finally “get” that one topic that’s been driving you crazy), let’s team up and make it happen. No stress, no overwhelm just solid progress. Ready to give it a go?
