About Jonathan

During my studies in basic education, I was performing well, especially in science and mathematics that late in secondary education, I was enrolled in a Science High based curriculum that I enjoyed learning the subjects. My fascination in what I have learned continues to grow that led me to taking Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering that again I enjoyed learning and I was one of the top 5% of our Chemical Engineering graduating class of 2002. I also passed the Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination after taking it. I loved sharing my knowledge and learnings to my classmates who have had difficulty in understanding the subject and its principles, that is I conducted tutorials during my college days. I enjoyed demonstrating my skills in the subjects, problem solving and solutions, subjects that I feel I have mastered, in conducting tutorials to my classmates and junior class, who found the subject difficult and we loved discussions in finding the solutions or answers to the problems. I extend my time whenever I have, to whoever needed the things I find it easy. I was also able to teach chemistry to Bachelor of Science in Nursing student, the time there was a peak enrollment of the Nursing course.

About the lesson

To communicate with the tutee on what he/she would like to learn or difficulties he/she has in the class. So that is to listen to the tutee, allowing him/her to talk on what they had at class with their teacher. Then identify what particular the tutee what he has not able to get or difficulties. Relaying the lesson in a different approach that suits him, his understanding and level. Make a review if possible, that he might have missed in continuation of the current topic that are related to one another. Give samples / examples, redo exercises and other exercises to check whether the tutee was able to get the principle behind or its progress of learning.
