About Robin

My name is Robin, and I am a sophomore pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in American Studies. I am passionate about English-speaking countries and their cultures, and I hope to become a university professor specializing in American history. Having already taught English and French to students of all ages and backgrounds, I am able to easily adapt my teaching style to any type of learner.

About the lesson

Hello there, future student!

My name is Robin. I’m pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and would like to help middle and high school students (or simply beginners and intermediate learners of English) deepen their knowledge of English (or French for non-French-speaking students).

The content of my lessons is tailored to each student’s needs. Students choose what they want to learn and where they need help (exercises, homework, supplementary lessons, speaking practice, pronunciation, etc.).
I also want to expose my students to authentic, dynamic English so we don’t get stuck in the old middle and high school ways, where methods can often boil down to simply “reading from a textbook.”

For more information about my background:

- I earned my high school diploma with honors in 2023 (including a European distinction).
- I am currently in my second year of a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature (LLCER) with a track in secondary education and a teaching training option at ICES. I have also been valedictorian since the first semester of my freshman year.
- I completed a year-long language and cultural exchange program in the United States during the 2023–2024 school year and earned my American High School Diploma with high honors.

I am patient, optimistic, and always attentive to the needs and requests of my students and their parents when necessary. My goal is, above all, to share my passion for the English and the French language, and a positive attitude is always a priority during lessons!

These private lessons are priced at €15/hour.
