About Corina

About me:
I graduated from QUT in March 2020, with a Distinction Average GPA and various semesters on the Dean's List. While at QUT, I completed a Bachelor of Business with a Major in Accounting.
I have completed all the core business and accounting major subjects. as well as a Tax Profession Extension (required to be admitted to the Tax Practitioners Board) and the Professional Accounting Extension (required to be admitted to the professional accounting bodies, including CA and CPA institutes).
I currently work full time as a tax accountant in a Chartered Accountancy firm and have finished Financial Accounting of the CA program.

Prior teaching experience:
I have taught for QUT for 2 semesters as a private tutor through their SAS program. I have also had private students outside of QUT.

- Bookkeeping

I take on a limited number of students each semester as I have quite a busy schedule myself, so I can ensure my students get the attention required to achieve their wanted results!

My availability is limited to week nights after 7pm and weekends, due to my work commitments and CA program.

I DO NOT OFFER MY FIRST LESSON FREE.

About the lesson

My teaching method is that learning is by doing. We sit together and work out as a team the best way to approach your learning. I then try to explain/ demonstrate the solution - then it is your turn! I have a very relaxed and conversational style of teaching, so feel free to ask lots of questions and volunteer ideas!
