About Xia
Xia is an experienced collaborative pianist and teacher, who began playing the piano at 6 and achieved the top Chinese grade ten at 12.
In 2018, Xia was awarded a place to study piano performance at Wuhan Conservatoire where she studied with Professor Yi Yuan for four years and graduated with distinction of principal study.She completed Bachelor in Music Performance in 2022 and was accepted for the two-year (Music Performance) Collaborative Piano at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK. She
studied with Dr Harvey Davies and graduated in 2024 with Distinction in Final Recital.
