About Sonya

Hi! I’m currently working in Big 4 Assurance and recently wrote the September 2026 CFE! I’ve tutored accounting students during university, and I’ve always really enjoyed helping others learn. Having gone through the CPA program myself over the last year, I know how stressful and overwhelming it can get, and I’d love to make that journey a little easier for you!

My sessions are super relaxed, friendly, and completely judgment-free. There are no stupid questions, and you can ask me to explain something as many times as you need!

Whether you need help with a tricky concept, case writing strategies/feedback, or just some exam advice, I’m happy to help. I really just want to see you succeed and pass those exams! :)

About the lesson

I offer affordable, personalized CPA PEP & CFE tutoring for Core 1, Core 2, Assurance, case writing, exam strategies and technical accounting questions! $25/30 min or $40/hour.

I’m a CPA candidate and Big 4 Assurance professional who wrote the September 2026 CFE. I have successfully passed all the CPA PEP modules.

What I can help with:

* CPA PEP Core 1, Core 2 and Assurance
* CFE Day 1, Day 2 Assurance and Day 3 preparation
* Case writing, identifying AOs, structuring responses and time management
* Practice case reviews, debriefs and feedback
* Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Assurance and Finance concepts
* Exam tips, study strategies and technical questions

My sessions are flexible and completely tailored to your needs! Think of them like office hours with a teaching assistant: bring your questions, practice cases or concepts you’re struggling with, and we’ll work through them together. No fixed syllabus, homework or weekly commitment required!
