About Akshay

CFA Charterholder and all levels cleared with more than 90 percentile. Proficient in subjects such as Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Quantitative analysis, Corporate Finance and Alternative Investments. I started my CFA journey back in 2018, with my Level 1 in June 2018. I studied not just with the intention of clearing the exam, but with the intention of gaining as much financial knowledge as I can grasp. After a consistent schedule and hard work, I cleared Level 1 with more than 90 percentile. Soon as I got the news, I registered for Level 2 exam in June 2019. A similar journey started, but this time I was determined to put even more hard work, given the complexity of the exam. I passed the exam with more than 90 percentile. With the last level in my sight, I registered for the Level 3 exam, which was scheduled in May 2020. As Covid-19 happened, the CFA exam was canceled/postponed multiple times and I was finally able to give the computer based exam in November 21. I finally got my result in February 22. This time CFA has changed its policy and they don't provide the percentile for student who has cleared Level 3 exam. After these 4 years, I can proudly say that my love and passion for Finance has grown multi-folds and I look forward to contribute more. Now, let me give you a brief about my experience. I have worked in the Finance domain for 5 years, majorly with Royal Bank of Scotland (now Natwest Group). During my time, I was also awarded the Top employee of the year in the bank. Not only I have theoretical knowledge about derivatives, but also I have practical experience in Options trading. On top of that, I have a passion for teaching.

About the lesson

The class motive will be to imbibe knowledge in the student. More than anything, priority will be given to student that he/she understands the subject. Dedicated plans will be made to achieve the target. Once things are done, we will also test the knowledge with questions.
