About Dorian

I am a passionate vocal coach with a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and over seven years of experience guiding singers of all ages and skill levels. My own journey began in youth choirs and stage performances, which led me to formal training and a deep academic and artistic exploration of the voice. That journey continues through every lesson I teach, fueled by the belief that singing is both a skill and a powerful form of expression. My teaching style is supportive, clear, and student-focused. I strive to create a learning space where singers feel safe to explore, take risks, and develop their unique sound. I take time to understand each student’s goals—whether it's mastering technique, building confidence, or preparing for auditions—and create a path tailored specifically to those needs. My training allows me to teach a variety of genres and vocal styles with flexibility and care. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals preparing for performances, vocal exams, theater roles, and simply singing for the love of it. I emphasize vocal health, technique, and musical interpretation equally, helping students not only sing better but also understand the music they perform. I strongly believe in building confidence through consistency and celebrating progress at every stage. When I’m not teaching, I continue to perform, collaborate with other musicians, and attend workshops to stay fresh and inspired. These experiences constantly enrich my teaching approach. Above all, I love helping people discover the joy of singing and their own expressive voice. It’s more than a skill—it’s a form of self-discovery and empowerment.

About the lesson

Singing lessons are thoughtfully crafted to meet each student’s vocal journey—whether you’re discovering your voice for the first time or aiming to refine advanced technique. We start with building a strong vocal foundation through exercises in breath control, posture, pitch accuracy, and vocal warm-ups. These early skills are essential in creating a healthy, supported sound and unlocking vocal potential.

Each lesson is tailored to your unique voice, goals, and musical preferences. As you grow, we focus on tone quality, control, diction, and expanding vocal range. I integrate music theory and ear training into the process to help you better understand the structure of the songs you're singing, enhancing your musical awareness and versatility.

We explore a variety of genres—classical, pop, musical theatre, and more—based on your interests and needs. Whether preparing for performances, auditions, or personal development, repertoire is selected to challenge and inspire. Performance techniques, emotional expression, and stage presence also become part of your training as your confidence grows.

The goal of these lessons is not only technical improvement but also personal artistic development. I encourage students to connect with their voice, express authentically, and enjoy the process of learning. Every voice is unique, and these lessons are here to support, guide, and celebrate that individuality.
