About Alaa tayloun

Hello! I’m Alaa, a native Egyptian Arabic and MSA tutor with over two years of experience helping non-native speakers achieve fluency. I’ve guided numerous students from all over the world to conversational confidence and cultural immersion.

Whether you are learning Egyptian dialect for everyday conversations or Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) for business, media, or academic purposes, I specialize in customized courses for beginners, children, intermediate learners, professionals, literature enthusiasts, and intensive practice students. My courses seamlessly blend grammar, real-life scenarios, and vibrant Egyptian culture, including slang, poetry, and music.

About the lesson

I like to teach in a way that’s interactive, supportive, and really focuses on you as an individual. We start with a trial lesson to figure out what you’re hoping to achieve, what you learn best, and how fast you like to go. Then, I create a special plan just for you. I make sure we have a good, open line of communication from the start, and I give you regular feedback and check in on how you’re doing so you can keep getting better.

Following each lesson, I will provide you with a personalized Google Document that encompasses all newly introduced vocabulary and sentence structures from our class. Additionally, I will include voice recordings of my own pronunciation, ensuring that you can hear the precise native pronunciation as frequently as necessary. This approach facilitates the development of accurate listening and speaking skills in a natural and effective manner.

You will also receive a meticulously crafted lesson summary, designed exclusively for your needs. This summary incorporates visual aids such as drawings, images, and color schemes, along with comprehensive explanations tailored to the lesson we recently concluded. Furthermore, I provide homework exercises to facilitate the retention of new vocabulary and concepts.

Prior to commencing each new lesson, we engage in a collaborative review of the preceding homework assignments. Subsequently, we proceed with a presentation that synthesizes the key concepts covered in the previous lesson. This presentation incorporates visual aids, interactive speaking exercises, and practical revision activities to ensure comprehensive comprehension and long-term retention of the material.

Lessons are captivating and enjoyable, employing media, discussion, real-life scenarios, and practical conversations instead of tedious memorization. My objective is to empower you to communicate with confidence, comprehend Egyptian media, and genuinely connect with the culture—ranging from everyday street conversations to classical Arabic texts.
