About Octavia
I am a fourth-year student at the University of Toronto studying Human Geography and Portuguese. I am a certified TESL/TEFL/TESOL teacher through Oxford Seminars with over 100 hours of training. Through my education at the University of Toronto, I have extensive knowledge of Academic English, Linguistics and Language Acquisition.

My teaching methodology varies depending upon the needs of the student. Formal methodologies with classroom-like structure will be applied to varying degrees. Within a more formal lesson, there will/could be specific grammar points of focus with different exercises and applications. Informal methods such as conversation and the use of colloquialism will also be used. I have a large repertoire of skills, so lessons can be tailored to the student's needs.
