About Teacher

Hello, my name is Linique. I am currently in my last year studying towards a BEd Foundation Phase Degree. Additionally, I have earned my 150-hour TEFL certificate. Over the past 3 and a half years, I have gained valuable experience teaching at a school and also teaching online. I have gained a strong passion for working with students and helping them to better themselves. As an energetic and playful individual, I am able to build strong connections with my students, creating a fun and supportive environment. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, listening to music, reading, and continuously learning. I look forward to being your tutor!

As a private tutor, I focus on creating a personalized and interactive learning experience for each student, ensuring that lessons are tailored to their specific needs and goals. My methodology is centered around clear communication, understanding individual learning styles and building confidence in the subject. I take a balanced approach, combining structured lessons with flexibility to adapt as we progress. I am proficient in both Afrikaans and English, so I can teach students in either language depending on their preference or needs. In a typical lesson, students can expect a dynamic mix of listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises. I always encourage open dialogue, allowing students to ask questions and express any challenges they may be facing. My lessons cater to students of various learning levels- from beginners looking to grasp the basics of a new language to advanced learners aiming to refine their skills. I also work with students preparing for exams or looking to improve their conversational fluency. I adapt to the specific needs and goals of each individual.
