About Denise

My name's Denise and a single mum of 2, who I have been teaching my entire parental life. This is were I gained my patience from, I totally get it! Learning a language can be overwhelming at times, and it's easy to lose motivation or feel like you're not making progress. That can leave you feeling frustrated and stuck on where to go next. That's where I come in. I can help students like you overcome these feelings and help you reach your language goals. Not only do I provide customized lessons geared towards your specific needs, but also a supportive and encouraging environment to help you succeed. I'm confident that I can help you gain valuable skills, increase your confidence, and even give you the motivation you need to continue your language journey by yourself! Whether you're learning for work, travel, or just personal interest, my lessons can help make that goal a reality.

About the lesson

Different lessons may vary for different types of students. As a TEFL instructor, using Total physical response (TPR) for foreign students helps them understand better. For more advanced students, encouragement helps them develop a sense of confidence in their work, thus motivating them to strive for success.
For students who struggle in the language, using a more patient approach gives them the chance understand better instead of just doing for the sake of passing. Helping every kind of student is important no matter the level of understanding they are at.
I'm the type of instructor who will dedicate myself to helping every child pass and understand the work they are given. I may not have taught at a school, but I have helped many young kids with homework, speeches and essay writing. I have experience with teaching kids from age 3 up till 16. With regards to teaching adults, I have patience and will assist them to the best I can. My lessons are for anyone who wants the opportunity to understand and learn the English language.
