About Kourtney
I’m a TIA Exemplary recognized teacher with two Master degrees and six years of experience.
I’m certified to teach all subjects EC-6 grade and core subjects 4-8 grade
I’m kind and patient, but I will push you to continue despite things being difficult. I believe that your best work comes out of the biggest challenges. I believe that children can achieve anything. They set them to and I do not allow you to say. “I can’t do it” or “it’s too hard”. I acknowledge the challenges and support you through to success
I have taught nearly 400 children throughout my time in education - several of which didn’t know English when they started my class and left speaking a significant amount. Many others couldn’t read or read significantly below grade level and left my class on or above grade level.

I will teach you the basic foundational skills and we will practice together. I help with homework and class tutoring, as well as test preparation.
