About Taylor
I am a teacher who fell in love with teaching math during my internship. I have now spent 8 years teaching math and helping students believe in themselves. Math is all about using your basic facts to access higher-order thinking. On top of that, the confidence in yourself is imperative. You can learn math, and you can be successful!

I believe in teaching students in colors. Math should be hands-on and students should be able to"see" what these numbers mean. Most of my lessons spend 5 minutes tapping into information they should know to then allow us to build on it. Then spending 5 minutes watching me do it where I explain each step. I love to have students working as I work and then go slowly as they grasp the concept.
