About Mavy

My name is Mavy and I’m truly passionate about education and helping others—both in languages and in life! My Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) certification is not all… I also hold a Doctorate in Medicine and graduated from the University of Medical Sciences Carlos J Finlay in Cuba. My background in medicine has taught me to be disciplined, empathetic, and detail-oriented, which I bring into my classroom to create a supportive and motivating environment for every student.

About the lesson

I love making Spanish classes dynamic, creative, and full of real-world connection through games, music, culture, and communication. I'm passionate about making language learning fun, meaningful, and interactive. I love using games, technology, real-life communication, and cultural experiences to help my students feel confident and excited about learning Spanish. My strengths include: Creating engaging and student-centered lessons Encouraging communication and creativity in class Supporting students of all levels with patience and positivity I'm really excited to be part of your Spanish learning journey—let’s make it awesome together!
