About Elizabeth
Hi there! I’m a certified secondary English Language Arts teacher with over a decade of classroom experience and a passion for helping students succeed—especially those who’ve struggled with reading and writing in the past. I currently serve as an ELA department chair, literacy coach, and STAAR intervention specialist, and I’ve helped dramatically improve student outcomes in my district. I believe that every learner is capable of growth with the right support. My approach combines empathy, structure, and strategy. I specialize in supporting secondary students—especially reluctant readers and writers—by meeting them where they are and using real-world literacy skills to build confidence and mastery.
