About Juan

Hi, I’m Juan, a native Spanish teacher from Spain with formal academic training and international professional experience.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education (specializing in Economics), a Degree in Tourism, and a TEFL certification. I have worked in education and multicultural environments across Europe and Asia, which has given me a strong understanding of how people learn languages in real-life contexts.

Before focusing on teaching Spanish, I also worked in international and administrative environments, which helped me develop strong communication skills and adaptability when working with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

I am passionate about teaching languages and helping students gain confidence when speaking Spanish. I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging at first, so I focus on creating a supportive and structured environment where students feel comfortable making progress step by step.

My goal is to make Spanish learning practical, clear and enjoyable for every student, regardless of their starting level.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is structured, practical and fully focused on communication. I believe the best way to learn Spanish is by using it from the very first lesson, rather than only studying grammar rules in isolation.

Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level, goals and learning style. A typical session includes a short review of previous content, introduction of new vocabulary or structures, and most importantly, guided speaking practice based on real-life situations such as travel, work, daily conversations or cultural topics. I also include listening and interactive exercises to reinforce understanding and confidence.

I place strong emphasis on helping students speak naturally and without fear of making mistakes. Correction is done in a supportive way, focusing on improvement and fluency rather than perfection.

What sets me apart is my combination of formal teaching qualifications (Master’s Degree in Education, TEFL certification) and international experience working in multicultural environments across Europe and Asia. This allows me to understand the challenges students face when learning a new language and adapt my teaching accordingly.

My lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as intermediate learners who want to improve fluency, pronunciation, or professional Spanish for tourism, business or relocation purposes.
