About Alexandre

My name is Alexandre, and I am a native French speaker born and raised in France. Having recently graduated, I bring both academic excellence and a fresh, modern approach to teaching the French language.

My qualifications speak for themselves: I achieved a perfect 20/20 on the Baccalauréat de Français — France's demanding national exam — in both written and oral French, and a 5 out of 5 on the AP French exam. These results reflect not only my command of the language, but also my ability to understand exactly what is expected at an academic level and how to help students reach that standard.

I am patient, attentive, and genuinely invested in each student's progress. I believe that learning a language is a personal journey, and I take pride in adapting to each individual I work with. Whether you are just starting out or looking to refine your French to an advanced level, I am here to guide you with professionalism, clarity, and encouragement every step of the way.

About the lesson

I am a native French speaker, born and raised in France, and I scored a perfect 20/20 on the Baccalauréat de Français — France's national French exam (in both the written and oral sections) as well as a 5 out of 5 on the AP French exam. That means I don't just speak the language: I mastered it at the highest level, across two of the most rigorous French language certifications that exist.
Every student is different, and my lessons reflect that. Whether you're a complete beginner, a student preparing for an exam, or someone who simply wants to gain confidence speaking French, I tailor each session entirely to your needs and pace. Lessons are held via Zoom with shared documents and slides so everything stays clear and organized.
I pay close attention to pronunciation and accent from day one, because sounding natural matters. I can also assign homework and track your progress over time if you want extra help, but it is entirely need-based. Above all, I create a safe, judgment-free environment where every question is welcome, because the best way to learn a language is to feel comfortable making mistakes.
