About Stephany
I chose to become an educator because I wanted to be what/who I didn’t have while going through school. I have ADHD, so my brain has always worked a little differently than others so when I was trying to learn a new concept it was either very easy or extremely difficult. I meet my learners where they are at and strive to build their confidence in their understanding and abilities when trying to work through math and science related topics.

I am an educator who understands that not all learners can be taught in the same way. I have experience teaching Geometry and Algebra I, but from a more practical, scientific perspective. I have taught 8th Grade General Science, high school Chemistry, high school Space Exploration, and high school Integrated Science which covers topics and concepts from Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Science. I focus on making sure my learners understand the reasons behind why we do what we do in math and science.
I am a graduate from Northern Arizona University with a Masters of Arts in Teaching Science with Certification.
