About Perry
I'm a certified math teacher with a degree in mathematics education from BYU. I'm passionate about helping struggling students have "ah-ha" moments and make sense of math. I'm available to tutor in San Antonio, or anywhere online. I believe all students (young and old) can be successful in math. Math can be fun, and it can make sense!

I believe in teaching mathematics from a more conceptual standpoint, instead of simply teaching meaningless procedures that students struggle to grasp and quickly forget. I help my students make sense of mathematics by helping them see and discover the why behind certain procedures and by relating math to the real world.
