• I currently reside in Hangzhou, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and beautiful scenery. I hold a BA in International Business and a Certificate of Chinese Proficiency Test, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to teach Chinese effectively. Before becoming a full-time Chinese tutor, I had a successful 20-year career as a Marketing expert in FMCG markets, working with both China and Hong Kong markets. This diverse background allows me to bring real-world context and practical language usage into our lessons. I've had the opportunity to live in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Korea, which has broadened my cultural perspective and ability to connect with students from various backgrounds. Communicating in English poses no difficulty for me, so language barriers will never be an issue in our learning journey. In my free time, I enjoy the energetic sport of badminton, staying fit through workouts, and expressing my thoughts through writing. I'm eager to meet you and embark on this exciting language adventure together!

• My teaching style is centered around you, the student. I give you ample time to participate actively, using the Chinese you're learning in real-time. I employ a variety of teaching methods to help you build a solid foundation in Chinese, catering to different learning styles and preferences.
