About Siyi
I've been teaching Mandarin Chinese for 6 years. Through along the way I have found an effective, interesting way of teaching, my students enjoy the Chinese immersion and are able to express their feelings in Chinese after the study.
I love teaching Mandarin with different methods, especially I want every Chinese learner to be able to use the language rather than just learn it.
I currently live in the beautiful Mediterranean country of Greece, and I am also an active language learner. I have learned Greek in the past years as my third language.

I am a native Chinese and mandarin speaker who grew up and received education in China , I have been living in Greece since 2016, I am a professional and licensed Chinese teacher. I have obtained my Bachelor's degree from Harbin Normal University in China with major in Chinese Literature and Education, which am trained for teaching Chinese as a second language. Currently, I am also teaching mandarin in person at ATHENS Confucius Institute.
I have obtained Mandarin Proficiency Certificate and I speak mandarin without any accent. I also obtained National Teacher Qualification Certificate
Experience wise I have been a language teacher for 7 years already, for me teaching is like my second nature. It is something that I have devoted my passion and love to. That is why in china I have also founded my own school. I have taught all kinds of age groups, from children to adults that are from different countries as well .different textbooks include HSK, YCT, Kuai Le Han Yu, and so on, different levels from beginner to intermedia to advanced level, and Chinese for business purpose as well.
I am able to customize classes based on your specific level and request. I will emphasize the part you want to practice more to balance your abilities in listening, speaking reading, and writing. My class has also blended communication skills and topics inside to make sure your learning can be outputted in daily conversations.
For children's lessons, I combine total physics response (TPR)with picture books, interactive games, songs, tongue twisters, to make the class fun engaging, and knowledgeable. for advanced level, I also combine poetry, historical stories, idioms, to give them a full picture of Chinese culture aside from just the language skills.
