As an experienced ESL tutor, I believe that learning English should be engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's needs. My approach focuses on communication, comprehension, and confidence-building through interactive and structured lessons.
Teaching Methods & Techniques
Student-Centered Learning – Every lesson is customized based on the student's goals, learning style, and interests.
Communicative Approach – I encourage real-life conversations to improve fluency and pronunciation naturally.
Task-Based Learning – Lessons include practical activities like role-plays, problem-solving exercises, and discussions to apply English in everyday situations.
Grammar & Vocabulary in Context – Instead of memorization, I teach grammar and vocabulary through stories, dialogues, and real-world examples.
Pronunciation & Listening Practice – I use phonics, minimal pairs, and repetition drills to improve clarity and understanding.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up (5-10 min) – Light conversation, review of previous material, or a fun word game.
Main Lesson (20-30 min) – Focus on a skill (speaking, reading, listening, or writing) using structured exercises.
Practice & Application (15-20 min) – Interactive activities, role-plays, or discussions to reinforce the lesson.
Feedback & Wrap-Up (5-10 min) – Corrections, recap of key points, and a small assignment or practice suggestion.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor?
Personalized Learning Plans – I tailor each lesson to suit the student's proficiency level and goals.
Engaging & Supportive Teaching Style – I make learning fun, stress-free, and confidence-boosting.
Focus on Pronunciation & Natural Speaking – I help students sound more fluent and understand native speakers better.
Experience with Diverse Learners – I have worked with business professionals, young learners, and adult ESL students from different cultural backgrounds.
