About Nasia
-Hi, I’m Ms. Norris, a Lead Educator with five years of experience helping students grow as readers and writers. I have taught 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA and writing, and I hold an MA in Urban Education Policy from Brown University. I've also coached 1st year teachers, modeling how to differentiate lessons for diverse learners.
-Here is what my students achieve: more than 80% meet their end-of-year growth goal each year. I get those results by using data to find exactly what a student needs, then teaching to it.

Your first session is a diagnostic. We start with a short, low-pressure assessment of reading and writing skills, including phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and written expression. I use what I learn to pinpoint the specific skills and standards holding your student back, and you leave the first session with a clear picture of strengths, gaps, and a plan.
From there, I build focused lessons around those targets, in small groups or one-on-one, and I share progress with you along the way so you can see the growth.
Confidence matters as much as skill. Students learn faster when they believe they can, so I design sessions that give early wins and then stretch them.
If you want your student to feel capable and prepared, message me to set up a free 15-minute consultation. :)
