I use a structured, evidence-based approach to reading, writing, and other discipline instruction that is individualized to each learner’s strengths and needs. Lessons include targeted skill instruction (such as phonics, decoding, comprehension, or written expression), guided practice, and opportunities for independent application. Lessons are also centered around student interest, pace, and what is motivating to them. I prioritize explicit instruction, scaffolded support, and frequent check-ins to build confidence and mastery. My lessons are designed for K–12 students and young adults who need support with literacy skills, including struggling readers, students with learning differences, and those transitioning out of special education.
