My name is Romance, I am from Champagne, France!

I am a native French speaker and a certified DAEFLE graduate, trained in teaching French as a foreign language.
I absolutely loooove seeing my students gain confidence when speaking French! If you are looking to finally do it, or if you are looking for someone to help your kids with homework, or simply learning a new language you are at the perfect spot!

I speak 3 languages fluently, I have learned English and Spanish from zero and I would love to share with you some of my tips to help in this journey!

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style, whether you are a beginner, preparing for an exam, improving your conversation skills, or learning French for travel. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping you make steady progress while enjoying the learning process.

About the lesson

Bonjour ! I am a professionally certified French instructor dedicated to making language learning an enjoyable, rewarding, and highly practical experience. Having taught in-person right here in beautiful Mount Maunganui to locals preparing for their dream trips to France, I know exactly how to bridge the gap between textbook grammar and real-world confidence.

Whether you are looking to master daily conversations for future travel, support your child's school learning, or dive into French culture, I adapt every lesson to match your rhythm and goals.

For travelers, we practice ordering at a Parisian café, asking for directions, or booking a train.
I bring lessons to life using a mix of multimedia, interactive virtual whiteboards, and authentic audio materials.

For kids and teenagers, I use creative, game-based learning to keep energy high and minds engaged. For adults, I focus on building conversational fluidity and natural phrasing.

Lessons typically run between 45 minutes to 1 hour, which is the absolute sweet spot for maintaining high focus and absorption without feeling overwhelmed. Every class includes a quick review of past material, a core interactive activity, and plenty of speaking practice.

Qualifications & Experience:
DAEFLE Certified (Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère) with the option for teaching kids and teenagers: Officially qualified to teach French as a foreign language.

Everyone is welcome! I teach all ages (from young children to adults) and all levels (from absolute beginners who don't know a word, to advanced speakers looking to polish their fluency).
