About Anna
I have received CELTA training (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I worked actively as an ESL instructor for 2.5 years. I have worked with a broad range of ages and a variety of speakers of other languages. I have worked with individuals whose first languages were Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, and Ukrainian. Outside of CELTA training, I completed a B.A. in religious studies and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

I help students achieve their English learning goals through personalized one-on-one instruction.
A typical lesson layout is review of previous content and some learning activities to test their knowledge. Next I will introduce new content and provide a series of exercises to help them practice new language. I will finish off the lesson by a checking activity and a homework assignment for next time.
These lessons are for anyone aged 12 years through adulthood. I have experience working with both beginner and advanced language learners, as well as children and adults. I work with students who are actively attending school as well as adults who would like to improve their English for personal or professional reasons.
