About Velia
I am a dedicated and experienced Special Education teacher with a passion for helping students reach their full academic potential. I specialize in providing individualized instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics, with a strong focus on building foundational skills and strengthening student confidence.
Through my experience working with elementary students, I have developed effective teaching strategies that support a variety of learning styles and academic needs. I believe every child is capable of success when provided with the right guidance, encouragement, and support.
My teaching approach is patient, engaging, and student-centered. I strive to create a welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.
I am committed to helping students overcome academic challenges, develop independence, and build the confidence they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
