About Isabella

I am a fashion designer and artist with over 5 years of experience working in the fashion industry across both Paris and London. I have worked for brands including Givenchy and Maison Margiela at both ready-to-wear and haute couture levels. I also have my own brand which most recently showed my AW/23 collection at The 180 Strand in London. I believe in teaching in a way that not only brings forward my personal expertise in the industry, education system and the application processes, but is aimed at each individual student creating work that is meaningful to them and fulfils their personal vision! I received a First-Class Honours degree in Fashion Design with Print from Central Saint Martins, and a distinction from their Foundation programme, as well as A* grades at GCSE and A level.

About the lesson

I have a holistic and forward-looking approach that centres on facilitating my students' creative journey, helping them discover their distinct voice in their work, which expresses their vision! This is not only aiming towards achieving the best exam results possible, but also guiding my students to push their work to take the next step, whether that be A levels (or equivalent) or a career in Art, Fashion and Design. As a Central Saint Martins BA and Foundation Graduate with over 5 years working in the Fashion industry including at brands such as Givenchy and Maison Margiela I understand at every level the process of growing and translating your skills into physical meaningful work that will help you get to the next stage, and take with you throughout your career! My lessons and tutorials are aimed at those studying GCSE and A Level Art and Textiles, and those aiming to continue into higher education. They range between 60-120 minutes in length, and are tailored to what each student is looking to focus on, from coursework or portfolio reviews to guided projects and drawing/making sessions.
