About Shannon

I'm a CELTA qualified teacher with 3 years of English language teaching experience online and in classroom settings. I’ve had experience teaching kids and adults in groups and 1:1. I can help with IELTS preparation, business English, essay writing, as well as general English. I've had specific training in phonetics so I can offer pronunciation coaching.

About the lesson

I tailor my teaching methodology according to each student's needs. I want to make sure you're getting as much out of it as you can. I like to define goals for the sessions at the beginning and evaluate and set targets for the next lesson at the close of each one. I'm happy to work from a course book of your choice or provide more informal speaking lessons.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.

Perfect! Shannon was considerate and took time to make sure I understand what had been taught. She was very knowledgeable in essay-writing, and I appreciate her feedback on how to improve mine.
