About Chris
Hi, I'm Chris and I'm a secondary MFL teacher with Qualified Teacher Status.
I am a CELTA qualified English teacher in a language centre and I have 5 years experience teaching online.
I can help students who want to improve their conversational skills in English.
I have experience in tutoring French and teaching German to Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level students.
I personalise lessons for individual students, focussing on what is most important and relevant for you. I am able to empathise with language learners, having studied many languages myself. I am also patient and happy to adapt to different learning styles.
The structure of a lesson will vary depending upon the individual requirements of the student. However, the main focus of the lesson is usually on speaking - making mistakes, practising and learning!
