About Savannah
I am a CELTA-qualified English tutor with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English and Creative Writing. I was born and raised in the United States and moved to the UK as a teenager, so I understand both American and British English, as well as the cultural differences that can affect communication.
I teach international learners online and enjoy helping professionals feel more confident using English in real work situations. My background in English and Creative Writing gives me a strong understanding of language, tone, structure and expression, while my CELTA training gives me a practical, learner-focused teaching approach.
My style is warm, supportive and professional. I aim to create a space where learners feel comfortable practising, making mistakes, asking questions and building the confidence to use English more naturally in meetings, presentations, interviews, emails and everyday workplace communication.

My lessons help international professionals communicate more clearly and confidently in workplace English.
In the first session, I identify your goals, current level and the professional situations where English feels most difficult. Lessons are then tailored around what you actually need to use at work, whether that means speaking up in meetings, giving presentations, preparing for interviews, writing clearer emails, networking, or managing everyday office conversations.
A typical lesson is 50 minutes and may include guided conversation, role play, pronunciation support, vocabulary building, writing feedback, homework checks and practical correction. We can practise real workplace situations, improve the structure of your spoken answers, and work on tone, clarity and cultural nuance.
My approach is practical, interactive and confidence-building. Students often value my clear lesson structure, careful preparation, detailed feedback and lessons tailored to their individual needs. Lessons are best suited to adult professionals, usually from intermediate to advanced level.

My standard lesson rate is £35 per hour.
The first free session is a 30-minute diagnostic and goal-setting call. We will discuss your current level, your professional goals, and the situations where you most need English — such as meetings, presentations, interviews, emails, networking or everyday workplace communication.
Lesson packs are available for learners who want regular support:
* 5-hour pack: £165
* 10-hour pack: £320
These packs are ideal if you want a structured start and consistent progress over several weeks. Light homework or practice tasks can be provided between lessons when useful, and I’m happy to review agreed homework as part of your ongoing learning plan.
